Always staying on top of upcoming trends we made sure to keep one eye on the catwalk this London Fashion Week. As we are sure you did too.
Eco fashion is about creating something transeasonal and attractive and that’s how we stay ECO-HOT. The balance between trend and transeasonal is about finding those recurring themes. We have a selection of our highlights from this week’s LFW catwalks to share with you.
Sleek silhouettes next season are given a modern twist with neutral hues, cut-outs, gathered detailing and artisanal patchworks. A simplicity in shapes and an overall minimalistic approach.
Obviously minimalist dress is big on our hit list. The simple sillhouettes and clever use of fabric make it a great style for eco fashion and something that COSSAC embraces.
Simple designs and an overall pure look is another popular choice for us. Neutral tones and natural fibre fabrics give a subtle textured look with simple layering and draping.
A woman’s figure never changes and garments that show off the shape are always popular. So an emphasis on waist and length in arms and skirts are on our inspiration list.
The soft hues of natural fibres are the new twist on the minimalist look. Simple cuts make a bold fashion statement in these natural tones.
Artisanal patchworks and texturing add detail to classic garments. We love to change up the texture with recyled panels of fur and leather.
So that’s Autumn Winter 15/16 sorted then. But now it’s time to start digging in your wardrobe and finding what suits for Spring Summer. Check out our new SS15 collection coming next week for some eco fashion transeasonal options.
